Originally
the capital of the old Siamese 'Lanna Kingdom' Chiangmai recently celebrated
its 700th birthday. With its charming
'moat city' surrounded by

located approximately 700 kilometers north of Bangkok and 50 minutes

air travel. Chiangmai is the second largest city in Thailand and has a population
